Those have been our goals since the beginning. Ken believes that great work comes from great individual contributions in tandem with selfless, candid collaboration and teamwork. Ken was an executive at several leading financial services companies, which provides DMG with invaluable client-side insight and perspective. There is no assignment that escapes his attention—or passion—for excellence. When Ken is not leading DMG onward, you’ll find him hiking the Adirondack High Peaks, sailing the clear blue waters of Lake George, or traveling to far-off places.

A DMG fixture since 2002, Karen has the temperament of a Golden Retriever…and the determination of a bulldog. She can assess a situation, devise a plan of action, and start making it happen as if it were an effortless stroll in the park. Karen combines strategic and aesthetic sensibilities, an eye for detail, and a friendly, relaxed composure that keeps clients coming back. Grounded. Thoughtful. Smart. Dependable. She doesn’t stop working until expectations have been exceeded. She loves anything paranormal, her furry kids, volleyball, kickboxing, and most of all her two girls. Social distancing does not come naturally to Karen.

Christie isn’t the kind of person who sits around wondering what to do next. She’s already doing it. Since joining the team in 2006, she’s been managing projects big and small, with a fierce determination to ensure that clients get great work—on time and on budget. Solving client challenges is her passion. No whining. No drama. Attentive listener. Creative problem solver. Exudes confidence. She’s all-in on every assignment. Christie loves travel adventures, the Patriots, red wine, and family. She’s a best friend to more people than she will admit to. And BTW, Christie can throw a ball impressively far.

Since Jessica signed on in 2012, no assignment has been too much for her to handle with grace. Clients love her critical thinking, strategic insights, and focus on thoroughly understanding client objectives at the front end. Quietly driven. Loves perfection. Organized to a wonderful fault, Jessica is just as comfortable directing creative as she is working with clients. Jessica loves spending time with her large family (her dad does a perfect Sinatra), but especially with her beautiful daughter. She has a wanderlust for all travel, but her favorite escapes are on the Italian coast where she can live la dolce vita.

If you want to stand out and make a powerful creative statement, Kjell’s your man. He has the eye of a designer, the mind of a strategist, the passion of an artist. Since joining DMG in 2014, Kjell has demonstrated that he is the perfect blend of visual problem solver and creative thinker. “Don’t sleep until you absolutely nail it,” is his mantra. But his tenacity and drive are always tempered by a laid-back style and wry sense of humor. Away from his studio, Kjell can be found at an avant-garde film festival or in his garage trying to coax a forgotten classic roadster back to a charmed life.

Says little, speaks volumes, disarmingly clever. That would be Kellie. For some, thinking outside the box is a challenge. For Kellie, it’s a way of life. DMG has been a second home for Kellie since 2015, and since arriving, she’s been cooking up some pretty nifty creative work. Her recipe for outstanding work starts with gently but thoroughly probing the nuances of the assignment. She believes that while a lot has changed in advertising, the basics—brands, stories, people—haven't. Remember that and—voila—great communications are born. When she is not in the office, Kellie is either escaping from a puzzle room or unraveling the local threads of history.

Flying through the air as a competitive gymnast, Julie learned to stay on her toes. Those days are now history, but she hasn’t forgotten the discipline, training, teamwork, and competitive spirit that sports taught her. Always on top of the details, always bursting with positive enthusiasm, she’s your classic “can do” teammate with an easy smile and a great sense of humor. Never quiet, never still, she speaks up and gets the job done. And when she isn’t shepherding client projects to successful completion, you’ll find her with her puppy or at the beach urging her volleyball team on to victory.

Andrew knows where he's going, and how to get there. Our tallest employee is always thinking one step ahead. As business development manager, Andrew is a DMG evangelist, singing our praises and touting our capabilities. As our copywriter, he applies his clever tongue to our creative challenges and his sunny disposition to our team-centered approach. This Blue Devil and Eagle Scout is resourceful and always up for a challenge. When he's not working, you'll find him hiking mountains with his girlfriend and their dog or enjoying a hoppy beer by a crackling fire.

Turning beautiful designs into something computers can understand—and reproduce—is the challenge Steve loves. (Incidentally, this is not an intuitive skill.) Steve’s years of development experience are the baseline that he leverages for DMG. Steve is a stickler for efficiency, automation in coding, and lengthy punch lists from perfectionist designers. You’ll often hear Steve say, “Yes, that’s possible, but is it a good idea?” The DMG crew is still trying to find a programming problem that Steve can’t solve—but to date, that’s been impossible. When not in front of his monitor, Steve spends time with family or outdoors hunting, fishing, or cheering on the Ravens.
