Qualifying grocery purchases are transactions that contain one of the following category codes defined by Mastercard and designated by the merchant: 5300 (warehouse clubs), 5310 (discount stores), 5411 (grocery stores, supermarkets), 5451 (dairy product stores), 5462 (bakeries). Payments through aggregators like Paypal will not be eligible. Returns are subtracted from your qualifying purchases. The following are not considered qualifying purchases and will not count toward the spend requirement: disputed charges, unauthorized charges, illegal or fraudulent charges, interest charges, fees, Balance Transfers or Cash Advances (which includes items that are convertible to cash, such as stored value cards, lottery tickets, money orders, casino chips, foreign currency, or similar items). The bonus points will post to your account within 2 billing cycles after the end of the promotional period. Your account must be open and in good standing (e.g., no default has occurred under your Cardmember Agreement) to be eligible to receive the bonus points. |
